Catholic Life and Mission
At St. Mark’s we have a strong dedication towards Catholic Life and Mission. Our school life follows the liturgical year and prayer underpins everything that we do. In this way, we strive to keep Christ at the centre of our school life and mission. We have excellent links with local charities and care homes where we have visited with children, sent letters and Christmas cards, created food hampers, sung at different times of the year and shown support during times of need. Our floor book provides evidence, and celebrates, what we do as a school to show commitment to our Faith and living out the Mission of Jesus. Please watch the slideshow to see how we live out Catholic Life and Mission in our school.
This includes evidence of:
Our most recent Big Lent Walk where we raised £880 for CAFOD

Visit from Park View
Our local care home – Park View – also were given the opportunity to attend our most recent production: “Joseph and his amazing Technicoloured Dreamcoat” and they sent us the following e-mail after their visit:
“Lovely to see you today, and what an amazing performance the Children put on! You have some amazing talent in the School!
Your Class and all the Children in the Hall were so well behaved.
Thank you so much for inviting us in today, I know one of our residents was crying happy tears at the end as it was so wonderful, please pass on our gratitude and thanks to everyone involved.”
